Question:
Would a sway control bracket for 2inch ball and a friction sway bar/kit work on a straight pole trailer tongue? Thanks

Friction-style sway control units like # 17200 from Curt can be used on a-frame trailers but not on a straight pole tongue trailer due to interference with turning clearance. On a pole tongue trailer it is possible to add weight distribution systems that have integrated sway control, rather than a separate friction unit, by using a pole tongue adapter like # RP3280 or # RP58393.
