Compatibility of the Edge Insight CTS2 on a 1998 GMC C/K Series Truck with 6.5L Diesel

I contacted the manufacturer and they stated as long as the vehicle has an OBD-II connector under the driver's side dash, the Edge Insight CTS2 , # EP84130, will connect to your 1998 GMC C/K Series truck's computer.

The manufacturer did tell me that on your vehicle, the Edge Insight will have a limited range of readouts and basic general information from the computer.

When you log in, instead of selecting GM/GMC on the monitor, you will need to pick other due to your vehicle's engine and computer application.

I have a 96 chevy k3500 6.5 TD. Will the Edge Insight CTS2 will tell my appointment or real time MPGs im getting?

Yes, as long as your K3500 has an OBD-II port the Edge Insight CTS2 # EP84130 will work to provide you with real time MPGs and service notifications.
