Trailer Hitch and Extension Recommendation for 1998 3500 Dually for Towing with Truck Bed Camper
Question:
i have a 1998 chevy 3500 dually 2wd truck with factory 2 receiver set up. i bought a 10foot slide in truck camper and from the end of my factory 2inch receiver to the end of the camper where it hangs over the back of the truck is 28. i am looking to SAFELY tow a 18foot ALL STEEL car trailer with an antique car on it and would like to know the proper set-up for my application? i figure from the factory receiver pin to where the pin needs to be under my camper is about 31inch pin to pin. can you set me in the right direction? thanks,

For an extension as long as you need you would need to have a 2-1/2 inch hitch installed on your 1998 Chevy 3500 like the Draw Tite part # DT45506 so that you can use a Titan Extender part # RP45292.
This heavy duty option is the only solution that can allow you the extension you need plus have the weight capacity needed.
