Recommended Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch For 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 With 6-1/2 Ft Bed
Question:
I have a 05 Chevy silverado 1500 4x4 extended cab 6 1/2 foot bed 5.3 vortec. I would like to know what the best underbed flip ball gooseneck hitch kit would be for my setup mainly be used for a 2 horse trailer and maybe compact tractor hear and there. Thanks

The gooseneck hitch I recommend for your 2005 Silverado is the B&W Turnoverball, part # BWGNRK1059.
This gooseneck kit includes a custom installation kit and when installed and with the ball removed, flipped over and installed in the ball opening gives you complete bed access when you are not towing. Another great feature is that if you ever decide to tow a fifth wheel trailer you can use the B&W Companion fifth wheel hitch like part # BWRVK3400-5W.
If you need a 7-way trailer connector for your trailer I recommend part # 41157.
