Bulb Type and Can they Be Switched to LEDs for Pilot Light-Up Hitch Cover CR-007

The Light-up hitch cover # CR-007 uses 1157 bulbs such as # A1157B. If you want to switch to LED bulbs that would have to be red such as # P341157R-360. If you used white bulbs then the lights would appear pink instead of red. Even though the bulbs will fit I cannot say everything will still work like normal since it is not tested with LED bulbs.

Rather than trying the LED bulb in the # CR-007, I instead recommend the Flint Hill Goods Square LED Brake Light Hitch Cover for 2" Hitches # FHG72VR.
