Can CIPA Comp Rearview Convex Boat Mirror be Used as a Parking Mirror
Question:
Hello, Im looking for a slight convex mirror to be mounted to a building for automobile parking situation. All traffic mirrors that I have found, have too much convex to be effective, therefore Im considering buying your CM01875 mirror. I would like to know if it is convex in both the width and the length directions. and if there is way for us to communication what the amount of curvature it has. Laying a flat straight edge on the glass it and letting me know the space below both end will be sufficient unless you have a better idea. Thank you !

I went out to the warehouse to inspect and measure mirror # CM01875. It is curved on both the X and Y axis meaning it sticks out further at the center than the top, bottom, left, or right. I placed a straight edge across the housing and from the glass to the straight edge it is approximately 1/8 of an inch (a little less) at the center and 3/16 inches (again a little less) at the ends. The housing is maybe 1/8 of an inch up from the glass.
