Gooseneck Hitch Installation in 1992 Ford E-350 Cutaway
Question:
I have a 1992 ford E350 cutaway chassis. It is the dually with 7.3 diesel. My question is could the curt 60723 gooseneck hitch work for my truck? Im assuming they used the same frame as an F350. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We do not have any custom fits for a gooseneck hitch for your 1992 Ford E350 cutaway. I confirmed this with Curt. The Curt gooseneck hitch # C60723 you referenced is specifically intended for pickups. You might do well to have a local shop check the van for the potential for a custom-made gooseneck installation. My research indicates the two vehicles do not share a common chassis platform.
For instance, the Curt Gooseneck Flat Plate # C65500 is a fabrication type hitch that can be installed along with under-bed reinforcement to deliver up to a 30K capacity (far more than the vehicle). This type of install will require a 1-inch steel plate be welded to the frame to act as a support for the hitch.
