Equalizer or Curt Weight Distribution System Recommendation for Tongue Weight of 800 lbs Loaded
Question:
I have a 2015 Toyota Tundra and just purchased a 21 foot travel trailer. The gross weight of the trailer is 5580 lbs and th tongue weight is 536 lbs. I estimate about 300 lbs in the rear of my truck as the normal while towing. I have been looking at the curt tru track and the equalizer. Which would be the best choice for my set up? Have read a lot about the curt but would like your opinion.

Hands down the Equalizer setup would be what I recommend. The Curt TruTrack will work but we have seen a couple situations where the L-brackets of the kit ended up bending and because of that I wouldn't want to recommend them for you since I would hate for that to happen to you or anybody else.
The Equalizer Kit part # EQ37100ET that you referenced would be exactly what I would recommend for you. It also comes with a hitch ball already so it would be all you need.
