Replacement Hinge for X-Cargo Roof Box
Question:
I have an old sears x-cargo roof top carrier. It has 2 center pivot knife hinges that do not lock in place. I would like to replace with a strut lift. So I do not know an exact model for the carrier. Will a Thule hinge work in this application? Will the hinge come with mounting hardware? Where can I find exact specifications for the hinges? Thanks.

The hinge that we carry that fits most X-Cargo roof boxes is the Replacement Dual Force Strut # TH14936. There is no hardware included or necessary. It installs right onto the ball sockets on the lid and box.
