Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver and Hitch Mount Bike Rack on a 2014 Chrysler Town and Country
Question:
I am looking for an affordable 3 bike rack that will work on our van. We still need to get the hitch too. Any recommendations? Thanks!

For starters the trailer hitch receiver I suggest for your 2014 Chrysler Town and Country is the Draw-Tite Max Frame # 75579. This is a Class III hitch receiver with a maximum tongue weight capacity of 400 pounds. I've attached an installation video for you to take a look at.
It's recommended on your van to use an accessory with a longer shank because of the amount of clearance. The Swagman Trailhead # S63365. This rack will fit the Class III hitch receiver and will hold up to 3 bikes.
If you're going to be carrying any women's or children's bikes, or any bikes that do not have a straight cross tube like a typical men's bike has, you may need an adapter. The Kuat Uber Bike Frame Adapter Bar # UB01 installs on the bikes and creates that straight cross tube. This gives your bikes a mounting point to hang them on the rack from that will keep them level while traveling.
