Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver and Hitch Mount Bike Rack for 3 Bikes on a 2014 Honda CR-V
Question:
I have a 2014 Honda CRV that I am interested in putting a trailer hitch and bike rack on. I have 2 boys so I would need to be able to carry 3 bikes. I am a teacher so cannot spend the earth. What would you recommend?

The best trailer hitch receiver for your 2014 Honda CR-V is the Draw-Tite Max Frame # 75742. It have the highest togue weight capacty, at 675 pounds, and bolts right onto the Honda. I've attached an install video for you.
The Swagman Trailhead # S63365 you referenced is a great rack for you. It will hold your three bikes and fit into the Draw-Tite hitch receiver. It also tilts to give you more access into the rear of your CR-V without having to remove the rack. It does not include a lock, however one can be added with Swagman's Locking Anti-Rattle Threaded Hitch Pin # S64029. This will lock the rack to your car.
