Adapter Needed to Attach an EAZ Aligner Tow Bar to Roadmaster Base Plates on a 1998 Suzuki Sidekick
Question:
Ive got a 1998 Suzuki sidekick 4 door. there is a roadmaster 1009-1 mounted with the detachable base plate, no tow bar. what would I need to mount a eaz-aligner tow bar to it? After further inspection I also have the rm-032 tow bar adapter. what do I need to be able to hook a eaz-aligner to it?

If you have the EazAligner 2000 car-mounted tow bar, you will need to use the RoadMaster Base Plates to EazAligner 2000 Tow Bar Adapter, item # RM-038, to safely connect your tow bar to the RoadMaster XL Base Plate Kit, item # 1009-1.
The Roadmaster Tow Bars, item # RM-032, is designed for certain Blue Ox and Demco tow bars only.
If you do not have safety cables you will need a set of those also. If your EAZ-Aligner tow bar has cable guides, use the straight safety cables, item # RM-645, and if it does not have cable guides use the coiled safety cables, item # RM-643.
If wiring is needed on your Sidekick, the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit, item # RM-154, will get you going.
You should check your owners manual or dealer for any measures needed before flat-towing your Sidekick.
I have linked a couple of videos that may help you with product selection and installation, see links.
