Will Using an Edge Programmer Cause a Duramax Diesel Motor to Blow Black Smoke from Exhaust

On the edge evolution cts3 does it make the truck black smoke at all?

Rolling coal, or creating black smoke from a diesel motor, is a result of an improper air to fuel ratio. Using a programmer such as # EP36YR optimizes things like air to fuel so you would not get that black soot.
