Can I Replace the Four Way Flat Connector on My Roadmaster Magnetic Tow Lights, # RM-2120
Question:
Can I replace the 4 flat connector on the light kit I have with a 4 round connector which will fit the existing 4 round connector on the motorhome since the one in the kit is larger than the one on the motorhome? If so, how do I determine where the wires connect on the smaller 4 round connector?

Yes, you can re-wire the Roadmaster Standard Magnetic Tow Lights, part # RM-2120, to a different connector so it will connect to your motorhome.
Most likely the 4 wires will be the standard colors and will wire up color to color. These colors are:
Green, Right turn
Yellow, Left turn
White, Ground
Brown, Tail/Marker
Typically, the connector is wired in this way: The green wire will be on the top left, the yellow wire will be on the top right, the brown will be on the bottom left, and the white will be the bottom right.
If the wires of your motorhome are not these colors, you will need a circuit tester, part # PTW2993, to test the different wires while a friend is applying the turn signals and brakes to determine how the wires should be connected.
I attached a link to a trailer wiring FAQ page, as well as a link to a page of all the different 4 way round connectors that we sell.
It sounds like you may need a Pollak Heavy-Duty, 4-Pole, Round Pin Trailer Wiring Connector, part # PK11402.
