7-Way Trailer Socket to Mate with Plug A7WCB

Question:

Can you tell me the number of the socket that the A7WCB will plug into? The socket will need to be compatible with mounting posts provided on Blue Ox baseplates. The plug on my cord has config of the A7WCB, but it has the letters DTS on it. Thanks.

Part # A7WCB uses a connector format known as an RV-style 7-way blade. Although the plug itself is round the actual electrical contacts are flat or blade style. This male plug mates with a female socket such as # 37185 or # 30717. I am not familiar with the DTS brand but I presume it is the maker of the connector you have.

My contact at Blue Ox confirmed that the threaded rods on the crossbar can be bent to fit a wide range of 6-way and 7-way trailer socket mounting hole spacing.

I have linked you to our main pages for wiring parts and adapters and to a helpful article on trailer wiring.
