Keeping Fresh Water Tank and Lines from Freezing in a Lived-In 5th Wheel Trailer

Question:

Got a 10 gal hot water on demand put in our 2016 jaco eagle 5 wheel I need to know is there any way to keep this from freezing up in the winter? I live in the 5 wheel year around and I live in Montana. How can I get it unfrozen ?

If you live in the trailer all year then presumably you will be running heaters when it is cold. Provided the hot water heater and plumbing is internal to the trailer then the ambient temperature would prevent it from freezing. But I assume that the water heater is fed from the fresh water tank which is more external to the trailer. To keep it from freezing you could use a tank heater such as # 277-000164.

Or we have heating element # W01-1573 designed for freeze protection on holding tanks, water supply lines, drain pipes, and metal or plastic pipes up to 3 inch in diameter. This heater plugs into a 120 AC outlet.

I have included a link to all of the fresh water heaters we have.
