Tire Chain Recommendation for 2013 Lincoln MKZ with 245/45-18  

Question:

My 2013 Lincoln MKZ f.w.d. has about half inch. clr. between the tire inner wall and strut. Tire size 245/45/18. I am looking at your Thule CG tire chain that requires 9 mm clr. I am concern about the inner cable connection joint. Will the connector passes thru a half inch space? Thank you.

For a set of tire chains that are a fit for you tire size 245/45-18 that would give you the best possible tire clearance as it does not go over the inside of the shoulder of the tire you would want the # TH02230K44.

The CG Tire Chain # TH2004205104 will require 9 mm of clearance. If you have that much clearance already then these would well too.
