The Thule Outbound Roof Top Bag, part # TH868 is a quality bag.
This bag would work well on your 2008 Hummer H3 and would mount to your factory roof rack.
This bag is water resistant, but not waterproof. Anything stored in the bag that cannot get wet should be stored in plastic.
