2001 fleetwood discovery 38D separate turn and stop lights to 2008 silverado combined stop and turn lights. Im confused about hook up

The trailer connector on your 2001 Fleetwood Discovery should already have the turn signals converted to be combined so that it works with standard trailer wiring. Does your RV already have trailer wiring?

Then for a tow bar wiring setup for your truck that will simply plug inline with vehicle's taillight harness you would want the part # HM56101. I attached a help article on tow bar wiring for you to check out as well.
