Which Bearing Buddy Size Will Fit A 1.984 Hub Bore
Question:
I have a replacement hub with a bore diameter of 1.984. The 1.980 BB is too small. Will the 2.047 BB work, or is it too big for the 1.984 hub bore?

Expert Reply:
The Bearing Buddy Bearing Protectors, part # BB2047SS, fits a 2.047 hub bore which would be too big for your 1.984 hub bore. The next closest size I would have in a Bearing Buddy is the Bearing Buddy Bearing Protectors, part # BB1980A-SS.
If you can pull your wheel bearings and get the bearing part numbers that would help you with which Bearing Buddy to use. The part # BB1980A-SS works with outer bearing models L44640, L44643, and L44649.
The Bearing Buddy pages also have listings on them for what bearings they fit. I have included a link to a video that demonstrates how to remove a hub and pull the bearings out.
