GCVW Should Be Located in the Owner Manual and on the Driver Side Door
Question:
I cant seem to find a written GCVW of my vehicle. One chart shows one thing, another chart shows something else. Do you know of a website that may list maximum tow weights of trucks. Mine happens to be a 2004, Dodge Ram, Quad Cab, LB, 4X4, 2500, 5.9l Cummins, 235hp. I have found in one chart a GCVW of 15000lbs, but rv dealers have told me that because of the dielsel it is closer to 18,000lbs.

I am not aware of a specific website that would have that information. The GCVW should be in the owner manual, and on the sticker on the driver side door jamb. You could also call the service department at your Dodge dealer, with your VIN number, they might be able to get you that information.
