I do have a solution for you, but the Hollywood Racks Express 3 Bike Rack # HRE3 that you are asking about will not fit on your 2016 Chevrolet Cruze.

If you are looking for a trunk mounted bike rack that holds two bikes, then I recommend using the Thule OutWay with Adjustable Arms # TH45JV. I have included a link to a demonstration video for you to see how it works.

Some people might have problems getting their bikes to sit on a bike rack properly due to having a common women's style, kid's style, or alternative style bike frame. If you own any of these styles, you might also want to get a bike frame adapter to help the bike(s) sit on the bike rack more securely. The adjustable arms will help quite a bit and may be fine, but it is better with an adapter to be sure. I recommend using the Thule Bike Adapter Bar for Women's and Alternative Frame Bikes # TH982XT. Since it telescopes from 16 inches to 31-1/2 inches it can accommodate a broader range of bike sizes than some of our other telescoping adapter bars.
