Recommendation for Lifting Trailer for Appropriate Pin Box Clearance Above Truck Bed Rails
Question:
I need 2inch of lift on my 5th wheel due to the higher bed rails of my new Chevrolet 3500. The pin box is barely clearing the bed rails with the Anderson Ultimate hitch at the highest ball level Will the Lippert Correct Track work for me to get the increased axle height? My 2017 Forest River Cardinal 3250 has the MORryde CRE/3000 suspension equalizer.

The Lippert Components Correct Track II Alignment Kit has been discontinued. To lift your trailer ride height the best option is to use and over-under conversion kit. This is often referred to as flipping your axles. You will want to use # K71-385-00 for a 3 inch diameter axle or # K71-384-00 for a 2-3/8 inch axle diameter. This will raise your trailer by the diameter of your axle plus the height of your leaf spring stack so you will clear your bed rails.
You want a minimum of 6 inches between the top of your bed rails and the bottom edge of your trailer to account for turning on inclines.
