For your 2015 Ram 1500, I recommend the Reese Quick-Install Custom Base Rails and Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches, # RP50142-58. There is no frame drilling required with this custom rail mount kit. The installed rails are rated to meet vehicle manufacturer's tow ratings.
For your hitch, I recommend an option with a dual jaw design to ensure greater contact with the king pin to reduce jarring and chucking, the Reese 5th Wheel Hitch # RP30047.
I also recommend the Bargman 5th Wheel 90 degree wiring harness with 7-Pole Plug, # 50-97-410. This wiring harness allows you to connect to your current 7-Way on the back and gives you a second working 7-way, but with the easy access for a 5th wheel connection in the bed of your truck.
The rail kit is 72 lbs, the hitch is 147 lbs or 97 lbs, and the harness is 3 lbs. Total weight for everything is 172 or 222 lbs depending on the hitch you choose.
