Recommended Utility Chest To Secure Equipment Or Tools

Question:

How much does the box actually weigh? I want to install it inside my SUV and will mount it to the floor. But I will need to remove it occasionally when we need to use the third row of seats. I also see theres no handles. I want a 36inch box that is very secure for locking up my expensive equipment inside the SUV. If this ones too heavy do you have a black chest that opens like this the underbody one, that comes in black aluminum, that you would recommend?

The DeeZee Specialty Series Underbody Toolbox - Steel - 6.75 Cu Ft - Black, DZDB-2601, is a very strong box. This box is very heavy weighing about 95 lbs. It will definitely keep your expensive equipment secure, but it won't be very easy to move without handles like you mentioned.

Another option for you would be a black aluminum option like you mentioned. For that, I recommend the DeeZee Red Label Truck Bed Toolbox - Utility Chest Style - Aluminum - 6.4 Cu Ft - Black, # DZ8537B. This will give you the same amount of space, but will be about 39 lbs and has handles.

Unfortunately we don't have a black aluminum option that opens from the front. For that aluminum option, although brite, you may be interested in the DeeZee Specialty Series Underbody Toolbox - Brite-Tread Aluminum - 7 Cu Ft - Silver, # DZ77. This doesn't have handles, does open from the front, and weighs 40 lbs.
