Capacity for the Head of the Equalizer Weight Distribution System EQ37040ET
Question:
Somewhere I read that the towing capacity of the hitch head is less when using it simply as a tow head and not connecting the spring arms. Now I cant seem to relocate that info. Do you have any guidance?

The head of the part # EQ37040ET is part # EQ90-02-0400 and has a 400 lb tongue weight capacity and 4,000 lb trailer weight capacity with the spring bars used or not.
You may be thinking of how some trailer hitches have two weight capacities. One with a WD system and one without a WD system.
