Recommended Platform Bike Carrier With Cargo Carrier For Yuba Boda Bike

I have a Yuba Boda All-Terrain Cargo bike: http://yubabikes.com/boda-boda/boda-boda-all-terrain And, I am having challenges identifying the best hitch bike rack for it. I have a Kuat Beta hitch-hanging rack, which I purchase from you for my other bikes, however a hitch-platform rack is the way to go for the cargo bike. With your experience, what would you recommend? I like the idea of having a cargo carrier as well, so the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 Platform 2 Bike Rack w/Cargo Carrier - 2inch Hitches - Frame Mount is of interest. The bike fits with the bike carrier specs, so please let me know your opinion as well. Thanks!

I did some research on your Yuba Boda bike and the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 Platform 2 Bike Rack, part # HR1450Z-85 would work well for you.

The bike rack is designed to work with 2-inch trailer htich receivers. This carrier has a weight capacity of 45-lbs per bike and can handle bikes with a wheelbase up to 60-inches. I found that your bike weighs 40-lbs and has a wheelbase around 49-inches so you should be good to go. This holds the bikes in place with the adjustable hooks that can be easily moved up or down the masts to accommodate bikes of different sizes.

The bike rack also includes a basket style cargo carrier that has a weight capacity of 90-lbs. The rack will tilt up when not in use. This bike carrier also includes a hitch lock and an 8-ft cable lock to secure the bikes to the carrier.

This is a 2-bike carrier but can be expanded to 4-bikes with the extension, part # HR1475Z.
