How Far Out Does the Erickson Big Bed Load Extender Stick Out Past the Trailer Hitch

How far will this product extend the bed from the hitch? I have a 2007 Toyota Tacoma short bed and I would like to put my 12 foot kayak in it.

The Erickson Big Bed Load Extender # EM07600-07601 extends out 4 feet from the trailer hitch when used as a bed extender. So if the bed of your 2007 Toyota Tacoma is 5 feet and the extender extends out past the hitch 4 feet that will be at least 9 feet of length. That is more than enough to support the kayak!
