Powered A-Frame Jack Recommendation for R-Pod Trailer for Installing Weight Distribution
Question:
I would like to replace the trailer tongue jack on my R-pod with an electric tongue jack. I have a Ram 1500 truck and the rpod weighs less than 3500 lbs with a tongue weight of probably 10 of that. I need to raise the tongue plus the end of the truck to get the stabilizer bars installed. I dont know what weight capacity I need. Question: The selection of electric jacks is very large. Can you help narrow it down to a highly rated reliable few that meet my needs?

For your trailer all of our powered A-frame jacks would fit and work well. I really like the Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer jacks like part # JET-5000 or # SC63VR. I would recommend the # JET-5000 because it has a 5000 pound capacity which wouldn't have to work as hard, would be faster, and would last longer as a result.
