Is There a Height Difference Between the Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter And Standard Bolt-In Rails?
Question:
What would the height difference be between the 6099 and a standard universal bolt in rails?
asked by: Jay
Helpful Expert Reply:
There really isn't a height difference between the Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Ram OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package and standard bolt-in above bed rails like # RP30035. The adapter keeps the rails at the same height so you can use the standard hitches without issue. The only difference in height would be the pin handles for the pucks to lock the rails into position on the 4 corners.
