Engine Oil Cooler for a 1997 Chevy Pickup Truck with 5.7 Liter Motor  

Question:

What I wont to do is ,Now I have a heavy-duty radiator an I wont to make use of the oil cooler own the new radiator own my 1997 Chevrolet 5,7 Silverado would be simple with you gays just wont to get the rite one cause it wont show this own year and model own my truck! Thankyou

In 1997 Chevy and GMC trucks were just called either a C series or K series. Silverado was only a trim level at that time. The trucks weren't called just Silverados until 1999/2000. But oil coolers and sandwich adapters are not fit guided anyway.

You can add an oil cooler to your 1997 Chevy pickup but you would not use the cooler portion of the radiator since it was designed for use with the transmission fluid. What I recommend is a kit, # D15501, so that the oil has its own cooler. It will be more efficient than the cooler in the radiator anyway.
