Tips for Installing Bail Pins in Reese Ram Rail Kit Adapter part # RP30154
Question:
I purchased the rail adapter for my Reese 5th wheel hitch to fit on my new 2015 RAM 2500 with puck system. My problem, the Bail Pins do not lock. The pins are to long and the adapter sits so low in the bed that I cannot get the bail under the FORE-AFT tube. What do I do?

What you need to do is insert the bail pins in the adapter part # RP30154 before the final install of the adapter so that you can get them properly installed prior.
Here's what a customer of ours left in a review about this:
"There is little to no space between the bottom of the rails and the truck bed. I couldn't snap the Bail pins unless I placed them in the hole first. Then just work the locking handles over the end of the bail pin ( the handles have some flexibility). Very happy with this adapter."
