Can Urethane Sealant be Used to Install a Vent in a Van with a Fiberglass Top
Question:
I have a 1985 conversion van with fiberglass top. Will the Urethane caulk work for installing this vent VP-543SP? The previous vent had a 6inch metal collar installed but I assume Ill have to remove it to fit the new vent.

Yes, you can use installation kit # 344270KITW or another similar sealant. Just make sure to clean away any previous sealant and materials prior to using it so there won't be any negative reactions with incompatible chemicals.
