Front Axle Helper Springs for 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 with Leveling Kit
Question:
Hello, truck i would need this for is a 06 4x4 Ram 2500. I already have a leveling system in place, but would like to utilize this alternative system to maintain that height when plowing. The springs Im using are a softer linear rate coil that will sag a bit when loaded. I need to maintain height to keep blade of ground when traversing inclines etc, the plow scrapes pavement. I know i could possibly use the stock coils but then i would have to have these air shocks aired way up while plowing, or even when Im not to maintain the level. I assume that would create a really harsh ride, correct? I see there are different shock towers, are these going to be shorter or longer than the oem towers. Also, are all the models for different vehicles the same lengths? If the ones for my truck are not long enough to work with an existing level coil, is it possible to substitute for a longer one? Thank-you for your time.

Timbren front helper springs # TDF25004B are designed to fit a stock 2006 Dodge Ram 4x4. Since yours has a leveling kit then it is possible you will still experience some sag when plowing.
These will not only help to reduce sag (on stock applications) but will also help with side to side body roll which will help keep things even when plowing. And you won't have to add or remove air like with air shocks or air bags. Just install them and you're done.
If you can tell me how much the height increased with the leveling kit I can determine if there are other options that would work if the Timbrens above do not meet your needs.
