Recommended Suspension Enhancement and Anti-Sway for 2015 Fleetwood Storm 32V on Ford F53 Chassis
Question:
I own a 2015 Fleetwood Storm Model 32V, 33foot 9inch long. It is built on a 2014 Ford F53 Chassis. The ride is extremely rough. Do you have a suspension specialist that could contact me. I am hoping you have a recommendation based on what your customers think has helped them the most to improve the ride, control, and sway of their motor home. Thank you very much.

For your 2015 Fleetwood Storm 32V built on a 2014 Ford F53 chassis, there are many options for suspension enhancement. We have helper springs and sway-control bars for your vehicle, each of which will help with the suspension feel and the overall comfort of the ride. The anti-sway bars will add the most noticeable difference in the steering and side to side movement, whereas the helper springs will add the compression help to ease the up and down movement as well as some side to side.
I would start with adding Anti-Sway to your vehicle which will greatly increase your driving comfort as well. I recommend the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar for Motor Homes, # RM-1139-149 as well as the Roadmaster Front Anti-Sway Bar for Motor Homes, # RM-1139-148. These bars minimize sway and driver fatigue by improving the stability and drivability of your 2015 Fleetwood Storm 32V. The bars are designed to allow for you to execute turns and have a level ride. This system works to diminish the effects of crosswinds, passing motorists, and shifting cargo.
To soften the ride while adding support, I would recommend the SumoSprings Maxim Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle, # SSR-183-54-1, and the SumoSprings Rebel Custom Helper Springs - Front Axle, # SSF-170-40-2. These helper springs improve driver control and comfort by helping to absorb bumps and shocks. These springs work independently of each other and have a progressive load control as the springs compress according to the weight of your cargo. They are maintenance free and the install is simply bolt on.
These systems will work independent of each other, but these parts will work very well when used together.
