Trailer Brake Controller Harness for a Tekonsha P2 and a 2010 Toyota Tundra
Question:
I purchased the P2 brake controller from you earlier this year. I would like to move it to my new 2010 Toyota Tundra has the tow package. Can I purchase the harness to connect the the P2 to the Tundra factory wiring? Thanks.

With a factory tow package on your 2010 Toyota Tundra, you will need the Tekonsha Wire Replacement, # 3040-P. This harness includes a separate ground wire that must be attached to a bare metal surface in order for the brake controller to function properly. We actually have a video, linked below, that shows the Tekonsha P2 Brake Controller and the 3040-P harness being installed on a 2010 Tundra.
