Recommended Front Hitch Receiver for 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
Question:
I am looking at your front trailer hitches and was wondering if they will work on a lowered truck, 3/5 . The place to park the trailer is in a small space and thought this might help? My truck is a 14 Chevy Silverado LTZ. Thank you,

This Draw-Tite Front Mount Hitch Receiver, # 65064, is a confirmed fit for your 2014 Silverado 1500. This hitch receiver has less of a drop than other front mount hitches for your vehicle, but it will still be very close to the ground. I would be concerned about speed bumps, but it will work. This receiver will require removing or removing a section of the air dam.
You will need a fairly significant rise on your ball mount to move your trailer into position, but I'm sure you've already accounted for that on the back side of your truck. I'd recommend the B&W Tow and Stow Ball Mount # BWTS10043B, because it has a 9-1/2 inch rise. I've also sent a link to our ball mount page for your convenience.
