Recommended Universal Towing Mirrors for 2003 Ford Explorer XLT
Question:
I have a 03 ford Explorer XLT, and want some decent towing mirrors for a covered snowmobile trailer 101 wide - I have some CIPA universal ones but the do not offer enough view for my liking - are the temporary door mount ones the way to go? Thanks Todd

In your situation, the CIPA Deluxe Door Mount Mirror, part # 11650 would be your best bet. When used along with your existing mirrors, this 5 by 8 inch mirror will provide a large field of view of your trailer while it is being towed.
As you will see in the video that I will link you to, these mirrors are very easy to install.
You could also use a stick on HotSpot Mirror, like part # CM49702 that would extend your field of view even further.
