Tightening Nutset In Tailgate Of 2016 Chevrolet Silverado

Question:

On my 2016 Silverado WT, the blind nut didnt expand after 9 turns. After some additional more turns, it expanded a little to where its now stuck. But i reached the end of the blind nut tool. Now the blind nut is in the hole but its loose. Need advise, please help. Note: The package has PN DZ 43102, but states Chevy 2007-current

I called my contact at DeeZee and asked about the installation of the Tailgate Assist, part # DZ43102.

They told me that you can remove the screw and then put some Loctite like part # LT37420 on the threads of the screw and snug the screw back down. Let it sit a couple hours and it should secure the nutset for you.
