The only drilling needed with the installation of the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs, part # AL57268 are for the air lines.
A note in the included instructions on page 14 states that they do not want and non-aluminum components mounted to the body of the truck. They suggest drilling two 5/16 inch holes in the license plate recess, under the bumper, or in the bumper mounting brackets. No holes are drilled in the frame or body of the truck.
