Which Brake Switch Wire is Needed to Hardwire in a Brake Controller to a 2016 Toyota Tacoma
Question:
I have purchased the necessary parts to install a p3 controller on my Tacoma that has a flat battery direct plug installed. My question where do I tap into the brake signal in the cab and what is the wire color? Thank you

On your 2016 Toyota Tacoma the brake switch wire you will need to hardwire in the brake controller red wire is going to be the blue wire at the brake switch. Use a circuit tester such as # PTW2993 or a meter if you have one to make sure that wire only has power when the brake pedal is pressed.
