Recommended Hitch Pin Lock For Swagman XC 2-Bike Rack

It it possible to use a padlock and lock this rack to my hitch by putting the padlock through the hole where the hitch pin goes? Thank you!

I recommend the Locking Anti-Rattle, Threaded Hitch Pin, part # S64029. This will replace the hitch pin you have for your bike carrier and also provide an anti-rattle solution.
