4-Way to 7-Way Recommendation for Installing Brake Controller in 2012 GMC Savana Van

Question:

Hi I have a 2012 GMC Savana 2500 that has already the 4 wire connector for a trailer. I would like to upgrade it to a 7 wire connector. I will tow the trailer very rarely, so I need the basic break controller. I saw your Utube video- very clear. Ill appreciate if you can send me a list of items that Ill need for this upgrade. Thanks!

You would need to convert the 4-way to a 7-way so that you can install the brake controller. For that you will want the Brake Controller Install Kit and 7-Way Adapter part # ETBC7. I attached installation instructions and an install video for this product as well.

For a very basic controller that works well we have the part # TK63VR which will install just like the video I attached.
