How Does Wiring Run to the Peterson Trailer Light part # 432400
Question:
I dont understand how the wires connect to the back of the light. Do I simply take the braided wires, shove them into the holes and they magically stay there? Ive never seen this type of connection before. Also, how do your release the wire if a change is necessary? Why are there 4 large holes and 4 small holes to accommodate only 2 wires? Im amazed that this does not appear in your Q and A section.

Essentially what you said is how you run wire to the part # 432400. It's a pretty strange method I will agree, but basically you just insert the wires into the holes on the back of the light assemblies and they socket grabs the wire.
If you fast-forward to the 2:30 section of the video I attached you will see our installer use this method. It's really pretty nice since you don't have to splice anything or use any soldering. If you do pull hard enough you would be able to remove the wire, but it's not something that would remove on its own.
