Available 12V Jacks for Use with Bunk Lights on Rockwood Pop-Up Camper Trailer

Question:

I recently had my top replaced on my Rockwood 296HW pop up camper. The new top has Qty of 3 plug type RV bunk light adapter with jack. My issue is that there is a approximately 1/32 Dia. male pin inside the jack hole which doesnt allow me to plug in my portable existing lights into it. Is there a different jack as I described and can I replace the jack easily? Please advise.

Rockwood does not provide specs for the bunk light adapters installed on your new replacement top but we do offer several items that might do the trick for you. Part # RVC100 is both screw-mount 12V jacks for use with lights that have a 1/4-inch phone plug. This is the same type of plug used on electric musical instruments like guitars.

Each of these jacks features a plastic domed base and a 2-wire hookup for ground (white wire) and 12V positive power (black wire). I am not familiar with the very small 1/32-inch type pin that you describe.

Please feel free to submit a photo of your connectors if the above solutions do not work for you.
