Which Trailer Connector on a 2010 Toyota Tundra Uses the Brake Output Circuit
Question:
my truck2010 tundra came with both a 4 prongflat and the round 7prong prewired, will the tekonsha P3 work for both with just the one plug in?

The brake output circuit that a brake controller wires to will only be present on the 7-way connector of your 2010 Toyota Tundra so that is the connector that would be used to control the trailers brakes.
To install the P3 part # 90195 will require the install harness part # 3040-P. Once that is installed your controller would be functional and ready to go.
