How Much of Curt Quick Goose 2 Gooseneck Trailer Hitch C630-641 is Visible Once Installed

Question:

is the ball chrome ring/and ball the only thing that shows above the bed ? Are those u bolt looking attachments coming down through the bed also?

Once the Curt Quick Goose 2 gooseneck hitch # C630-641 is installed on your 2010 Ford F-150, you will be able to see the hitch ball, the chrome ring running below the ball, and the two safety chain U-bolts. The U-bolts remain in the bed, but you are able to remove the hitch ball, turn it over and cover the hole with a chrome cap, retaining the looks and use of your truck bed.
