I checked the owner's manual for a 1997 Honda Prelude and it states that you can use Class S or cable style chains on the front wheels of the vehicle. We have numerous chains that fit this description. By far the easiest chains to install that I have ever used are the Low-Pro chains # TH04115075.

Nothing has been easier or faster than these chains. And when you are off on the side of the road in the snow trying to put on chains you want it to be as quick and easy as possible. I have linked a video showing how easy these chains are to use.

If you just need to have chains by law or just in case but don't want to spend a lot of money I recommend the cable style chains # TC327DC which include rubber tensioners. But they are not nearly as quick and easy to install than the Low-Pro chains. I have also included a link to all of the Class S chains for your Prelude.
