Wiring Colors to Use for Installing Brake Controller in a 2006 Ford F-150
Question:
When hard wiring brake control the truck has a blue, black, red and either brown or green but the trailer control has blue, black, red and white. Do the white on the brake control and the green/brown on the truck serve the same purpose?

On a 2006 Ford F-150 you would need to match the colors of your truck to the controller in the following way.
The white would go to white, red of the truck goes to black of the controller, blue goes to blue, and then green of the truck should go to red of the controller.
