I have a fabex 500 pin box and want to change to goose neck with out useing a adapter tryed a convert a ball i run out of adjustment down

Since the Convert-A-Ball adapter did not work there is another option that could and you would not have to modify the trailer at all. You could potentially use the Andersen Ranch Hitch # AM3100.

The adapter is height adjustable from 11-3/4 inches to 14-3/4 inches. You may also be able to move the pin box itself up higher on the trailer (if there are available holes in the wings where it is bolted on) if the height adjustment on the adapter is not enough.
